What is a copywriter?

How much do you charge?

This will depend on the length and complexity of the project. Once we have agreed what you require, I will provide a quote. I will always indicate the maximum amount to be charged.

What happens when I hire you?

Once you have decided to go ahead, I will draw up an agreement confirming the details. I will ask you to sign and return the agreement. I will then ask you a lot of questions regarding your marketing objectives, your customers and your product or service. I will ask you to provide me with as much information as possible in order to write the copy. I will produce a first draft, await your feedback, and write as many revisions as required until you are completely satisfied.

What if I don’t like the first draft?

I usually come close to your expectations with the first draft, but it is almost impossible to get it completely right first time. The first draft will give both you and I a starting point from which to proceed.

What if my business is on the other side of the country to you?

It doesn’t matter - we can communicate effectively by phone and email. I will of course visit if you are a reasonable distance from Bristol but this is by no means necessary.
