Too late now for Christmas, though not too late to spend any money you might have been given on yourself. It was a balanced blend of the floral liqueur, the tart lemon and the earthy sweetness of the Prosecco. Chase has several cocktail recipe suggestions for their Elderflower Liqueur, and personally I liked the sound of a Twinkle – mainly because I had the ingredients to hand, more or less. We believe in a truly sustainable approach to farming and creating spirits, which is why we let nothing go to waste. The feel is nicely-rounded in the mouth, like an elegant dessert wine, and that’s certainly how you could drink it, to go with a sweet pudding. With summer in mind, try adding it to Champagne for a refreshing cocktail or drink with soda and plenty of ice.

Chase capture the true, delicate flavour of carefully pressed elderflowers to achieve the best and most delicious taste, without using any artificial ingredients or heat methods. Based in the Herefordshire countryside, Chase makes its elderflower liqueur by steeping pressed elderflowers in potato vodka for a quintessentially British drink. If you find you have bought a case and find the first bottle is not for you we are happy to exchange the wines for something else. Chase elderflower liqueur is a mixture of the freshest elderflower from Chase’s farm and of course their award winning potato vodka.I was recently sent a sample of Chase Elderflower Liqueur from 31Dover, when I was reviewing their Christmas gift service and suggesting ideas for friends.

I know, I know, saying that an elderflower liqueur smells like elderflower is pretty useless, but it does. It’s like breathing in the natural scent of an elderflower bush when you come across it out on a walk. Presented in a beautiful screen printed bottle, Chase Elderflower Liqueur has a genuine luxurious quality because it is made using Chase's naturally sweet, super premium English Potato Vodka - voted the World's Best Vodka 2010 in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
