It’s fine to do when it’s daylight and your baby isn’t shouting, but at night, in a darkened room with a fussy baby, it’s a lot more frustrating.

The adult reading this with their youngster will wonder what's the dream, when does he fall asleep, how does this fantasy work, etc, but the youngster will perhaps empathise with the lad frustrated with the reluctance to do what comes naturally that one certain sheep shows - just as he himself used to do.

Unfortunately, this time his Mum is one step ahead of him and has provided everything he could possibly need, from night-lights to extra blankets.It’s really handy to carry around and the velcro tail means it can work on the go in a pram and not just a cot (also the batteries mean you don’t need a nearby socket which is good).

My goal is to read at least one children's literature book every weekday and share my thoughts here on my blog. She has a tendency to wake around 6am and stay awake for a few hours but after using Ewan and giving her a bottle she went back to sleep until 7. The control pod has a big button in the centre which turns Ewan on but to get the most out of the sheep, it’s not so intuitive. The story is about a boy named Duncan who loves everything about going to sleep, except the sleeping part. I highly recommend this to all children who enjoy bedtime stories because it is a tale that children and parents alike can relate to and enjoy.

I think we all know children like Duncan, those who know every stalling technique there is to not go to sleep at night.
