A lot of comparisons get made to ADG Profondo, but do not get confused, this is not a clone of that fragrance whatsoever. You'll mostly get the similarities far in the drydown and Profondo has a notable saltiness that Chrome Extreme does not. I'm going to try my best to describe what this reminds me of and trust me this is not a dig at the fragrance. It seems that the perfumer(s) of Chrome Extreme didn't dedicate a lot of space in the formula to unnecessary fixatives, opting instead for a higher concentration of high-impact top and middle notes (n.b. Chrome Extreme is of EDP concentration). This is apparent in the fragrance's impressive projection in the initial ~1.5 hrs. Longevity on the other hand is decent on me (~6-7 hrs; improves when applied on clothing), with the last few hours spent close to the skin. Drydown: After about an hour the projection drops off or I have become anosmic. The scent is a warm soapy, oceanic scent. Very realistic and pleasant; the best part of the scent. The amber is rich and smells addicting, while also meshing perfectly with the soapy warm scent of cashmeran. The ocean note becomes deeper as if night has fallen and the scent overall becomes more mature. This scent does perform differently in different temperatures, in colder temps it is a sweeter fruitier scent, while in hot weather it is a sharp masculine aquatic with a fresh oceanic vibe. 10/10

Comes now the Eau de Parfum (without the odd presentation -- Pure/Aqua/Extreme just weirdly had those words written toward the top of the bottle face). I'm liking it Chrome EdP. It definitely PROJECTS well. I get zero Polo blue vibes, I own Blue EDP, Deep Blue Parfum and love those, and don’t get that comparison (I’ve smelled all the other flankers and same). I also don’t get any Acqua Di Gio Profundo. And, I also think this should be its own line, it’s not Chrome at all in my opinion, and I actually really like the Original, but love this one.

In the end does it smell good? Absolutely. Does it have the ooomph that the name implies? Definitely. Of the three that I own, this is hands down the best of the trio by a large margin. Very reminiscent to ADG. Great value at discounter price. Nothing wow but I’ll definitely smell good. Id imagine this one will get some compliments for those who care. The note breakdown pretty much explains the whole experience of this fragrance. I don’t detect any particular notes other than the ones written down. First of all it is not harsh with mentioned citruses, it does not give shower gel vibe. It is mild and semi-sweet scent with some delicate "peppery" feeling during first 30 minutes. Regarding notes pyramid I don't know from where does this "peppery" impression come from but it's pleasant. 👍🏼

Then after a minute, it takes a turn into a bubble gumish area of PR one million territory, but still retains its own identity. Opening: On the opening it is very citrusy, synthetic, and bright. The citrus lasts only a few seconds however. For the first 10 Minutes the scent is very bitter and harsh, but once it starts to dry, it gets much better. Most of the opening is just Bitter though.

Chrome EDP is a masculine and very attractive fragrance, easy to use and suitable for different scenarios, casual situations, office work, outings with friends, etc., and due to its fresh characteristics, it is a good option for spring, summer and spring days. fall. Currently in the gym scent line up only because the scent profile is too familiar… not a bad thing. Although similar, it does it well with solid performance. Keeping it at 3-5 sprays MAX for gym wear this one I imagine
