About this deal

The folding wings are composed mostly of wedge plates and attach to the Technic joint disks on the main fuselage. 1×2 plates with Technic pin holes create hinges to attach angled areas between the crew compartment and wings. A large gap remains between the wings and the nacelles to allow the wings to fold up. Many fans will probably buy this set for Cad Bane, but I still think the minifigure selection could have been improved. While Hunter and Fennec are both very relevant to the scene, the fact that they’re both reused figures is kind of disappointing for a set at this price point.

The Minifigures are distributed throughout the seven bags of the construction, but we shall look at them all, before visiting the build itself. I was honestly surprised when I finished the model as this section definitely looks like it needs a few more pieces to finish it off. The Havoc Marauder is the official name of the shuttle, but I cannot recall hear it referred to more than once or twice over the multiple episodes that it has appeared in. I initially approached this part of the build with quite a bit of trepidation: I have a few difficulties perceiving firm differences between blues and greys, especially when working without a reference colour. However, the instructions were easy to follow, and clear enough for me to be able to use despite The build of the set felt like it progressed pretty fast, due to the use of fairly large pieces and the inclusion of only 6 bags. Plus, the set is only made of 1022 pieces, which is below average for a set at this price point. 75323 The Justifier Minifigures

The second minifigure in the set is Hunter, which makes sense as he was the one accompanying Omega when Cad Bane kidnapped her. Additionally, employing this element enables the canopy to open smoothly, although access is restricted by the dorsal wing. Fortunately, another method is available. The boarding ramp and entrance are not functional, inevitably, but they are represented by one dark bluish grey 2x2 tile which seems appropriately distinctive among the surrounding components. Minifigures [4] – Cad Bane and Omega are excellent figures, but could have had a couple more figures given the reused Hunter and Fennec Shand minifigs.

I understand these moving parts are necessary to make the mechanism work but I would’ve preferred it to be covered or disguised a bit better. This is not a new minifigure, as he previously appeared in last year’s Bad Batch Shuttle set but he’s still a nice minifigure though, and I like the printed details on his gunmetal grey armor. These decorations are actually posters that the Bad Batch have hung on the walls of their ship. The designs are taken directly from the show. I love that the Bad Batch has decided to decorate their ship and make the space their own. It’s a fun detail that I think sets them apart from standard clones." Considering the set already has a low piece count, I would’ve appreciated some more pieces being used for texturing on the ship. And … that’s all the minifigs. If you’re caught up on The Clone Wars enough to be watching The Bad Batch as it airs, a key character is clearly missing from the minifig assortment: Omega. Five minifigs make sense for the price point, and of course, we would want all members of the original Clone Force 99, but the set feels incomplete without this new character. Conclusions & recommendation

Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, and Crosshair hit the bricks after Order 66.

My thoughts exactly. Do we really need the speeders? Certainly their inclusion says to me that they wanted to charge more for what they intend to be the only Bad Batch set. Although missing Omega is very problematic, but maybe she could appear in a Microfighter set if they really don’t intend to produce more Bad Batch sets. The other speeder bike is a civilian design, named the Rawlings TK5. Hunter commandeered one such vehicle on Pantora. I love the lime green livery, accented with white stripes adorning the bodywork and adjustable thrust pods. These correspond precisely with the source material and the length of 14cm seems reasonably authentic too. Moreover, the outriggers look suitably slender but feel rigid. Innovation [3] – Some fun play features and the engine pod looks unique thanks to a cool build technique, but overall nothing super innovative. Open the ramp and out slides a tray of Cad Bane’s loot. There isn’t much space inside, although you can probably toss a minifigure lying down in there. Keepability [3] – The Cad Bane and Omega figures will be really desirable but the ship itself isn’t particularly iconic nor memorable.
