Feeling bad for her, Nikki slips her cupcake and a glass of milk to Brianna from Princess Sugar Plum to cheer her up. Anyway, I LOVE the teenage girliness in this book, mostly because, well, as cliche as it SEEMS and as many girls that walk this planet that go around shouting "OMG! There is an ice-skating contest and Nikki signs up to try and save a business where a boy named Brandon works, who she totally likes.

Then again, if I knew about the 4th book directly after I finished reading the third one, I would have waited for the 4th book in AGONY. I liked this book because Nikki was in the spotlight and people weren't trying to avoid her or make her feel low and also Mackenzie didn't need to steal her part as the spotlight - in the START tha. Brandon, Nikki`s friend, is running the place they are running charity for, Fuzzy Friends, is devastated at the news. No teenage girl can be as melodramatic and descriptive as the paranormal-romance lead girls that I read about. Before Nikki can talk to Chloe and Zoey about what happened yesterday, their gym teacher announces that the Holiday On Ice show is coming up, and students can either test their skills or participate in an ice show. Later, in the girls' bathroom, she overhears MacKenzie and Jessica talking about some secrets about Brandon and that he had to leave school after first hour. While the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is by far the most popular series in my school library, Dork Diaries is also very popular.Up until this book, I'd thoroughly enjoyed this series and found it to be a fun, light, and easy read. The students in gym class are going to skate while their teacher scores them as if it were the Winter Olympics. She thought it was her major crush Brandon who she had just went to the dance with the night before. Betty can't work by herself and plans to close the shelter down as soon as the remaining pets are found new homes or sanctuaries. Brandon takes a photo of the puppies wearing the pieces of ribbon for Nikki to give to Brianna as thanks.
