About this deal

The direct intake from the paint container eliminates the need for decanting or refilling, while the 15 m flexible paint hose provides a large working range. The best fence sprayers will be compatible with a range of different products, including solvent-based and water-based paints. Whereas some sprayers are limited to certain products, this model can be used with any standard stains, oils, varnishes or paints. I really wanted to get to the end of that panel if I am honest as it’s a fair weight on your back, granted I was leaning over too, but I can easily see this becoming a two handed operation on a long line of fence panels! It can be used for paint, oil based primer, stains, enamel, and airbrush coating, and can tackle various viscosities.

There are a few nozzle bore variations though, which is why I say this is a much better all rounder as you’ll be able to spray paint with this after, not just your fences and sheds – this is obviously just as useful on shed paint. If this bothers you then you can be generous with the masking tape and touch up edges and/or corners manually. You’ll still save yourself a whole load of time as compared to painting a whole fence the old-fashioned way. To put this strength into layman’s terms, this machine can spray at a maximum rate of 1200 ml/minute.

The Cuprinol was in a class of its own, literally, since it is the only manual fence sprayer we’d recommend. Speaking of masks, be sure to use the right one for any given job, otherwise it will not filter out the atomized material. There’s a lot to be said for brushes and rollers, but when you have a big job to do, like a fence, then a fence sprayer is usually far and away the best option. As a final point, remember to follow instructions regarding the thickness or otherwise of the material you can use for any given fence sprayer. The splutter generally happens if the nozzle isn’t clear or you run low on paint in the pot – with the larger pot on the Wagner you get most of a panel done before experiencing any splutter – also when dried that doesn’t show as I now know.

I tell you one thing though, the Cuprinol coagulates quickly inside the sprayer in hot conditions, so if this stops spraying you can bet it’s a clog from paint setting, and not the sprayer performance. Flow is quick and even, but not hugely accurate even with the spot pattern which was the most focussed of them all. This option from Terratek appears to have been designed for flexibility, which is presumably why it has a carry strap (which makes it more comfortable to use for longer periods) and a decently long lead (1. It has extra-fine atomisation for the smoothest coverage and the flow can be adjusted for those precise jobs.

As you can see from the quick demo it’s miles quicker than hand painting and aside from how I slop it in the pot, if you take your time quite a clean process.

This Wagner paint sprayer also comes with a shoulder strap to help spread the weight better across the body and as improve stability. Mohammed has gathered enough experience from his time practicing as a professional architect and now has vast knowledge in home designs and aesthetics. Electric fence sprayers make light work of a tedious job, I wish I bought one sooner – if you’re looking for a manual garden sprayer though, please follow the link provided as they are equally useful for thinner stains and treatments, probably better, but if you want to spray paint, read on!Wagner spray guns work by combining air and power, fanning out droplets of paint and creating a smooth, consistent finish to any surface.

The Wagner W100 can deal with even waxy thick paints with minimal to no dilution and is super-easy to clean after use. With reduced spraying pressure, it allows for maximum control, longer service life and up to 55% less overspray. With a coverage of 5 m² in just 9 minutes and an 800 ml capacity, the Wagner W 200 Paint Sprayer is an efficient and versatile tool for all your paint spraying needs. Airless paint spraying with High Efficiency Airless Technology (HEA) makes it easier to paint like a pro. Thanks to the fine spray the paint dries quickly, allowing for quicker application of a second coat.

Most paint needs to be diluted by at least 10% when using this sprayer – but check the manual and paint instructions carefully to make sure this is right for your job; it produces an even and controllable mist which dries neatly without overloading any surfaces.
