In the first film there was a head-height blow-torch, which left Harry’s hat on fire. After that one he jumped headfirst into snow – here his only option is to dip his head in a toilet he’s unaware is filled with kerosene. The results are particularly explosive. Sometime in the mid-2010s, Harry's old friend Marv Murchins sent Harry a distress message from a darkened room, as Marv was terrified of the return of Kevin McCallister, who had recently taken a bloodthirsty vendetta against all home invaders. [6] Potentially unofficial information ends here. After going through more deadly booby traps, such as tools falling on his head, his head getting burned with a blow torch and dipped in lighter fluid, falling from a sawed ladder, getting hit by an iron pipe two times, getting crushed with a tool chest, falling from a burning rope, and getting splattered with varnish, Harry and Marv pursued him. Kevin slipped on an icy surface along the way and they caught him and took him to Central Park. [1] He got his head burned with a blowtorch in both films. It's also unknown how he got a hat in the second film especially since in the first film, he had a similar kind of hat burned by a blowtorch. However, he gets his hat burned in this film as well.

The reason why he mutters is that Joe Pesci can't stop himself from swearing behind the scenes. The director even had a swear jar and he filled it up in one day. There's a video on YouTube that puts subtitles over his muttering called Joe Pesci Subtitled ( Home Alone 1& 2). After burning his right hand on the heated doorknob the letter "M" is visible on the hand and in New York also. This is where Kevin’s psychopathic tendencies become clear – burning someone’s head is essentially just torture. The other weird thing about this scene is how Harry just stands in the stream of fire for at least three seconds – he’s meant to be the smart one. Harry is an unseen character in Home Alone 4 (which shares a loose continuity with the original two films), having been ditched by Marv and replaced by Marv's wife Vera.A fan favourite from the first film. One hits Marv square in the face, and Harry turns to talk to him. Another swings down, hits him straight into the other one, and down he goes too. Later that night, the burglars arrived as planned, but Kevin, knowing that they would return, animated and dressed up mannequins and played loud Christmas music to make it look as if the house was occupied. The burglars were confused once again and abandoned the plan. [2]

The worst thing about this is that Harry never sees it coming. He’s just standing by the catflap, without a care in the world, when Kev shoots him in his privates. When Marv puts his head through the catflap, he gets a shot in the face too. The likelihood that Marv would tread on the one nail Kevin placed here after forcing him to remove his boots is admittedly not high, but then again, this is Marv we’re talking about. According to the Internet Movie Firearm Database, Harry is carrying what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 10 Revolver - .38 Special while disguised as a cop, which is also believed to be carried by the cop who chases Kevin. [8] In the second film, he carries what appears to be a Colt Police Positive.Harry was apparently a school dropout, mentioning he never made it to the 6th grade. [1] At some point, he would partner up with Marv and became known as the Wet Bandits. [2] Chicago robberies His portrayal, speech pattern, and mannerisms, suggest that he is perhaps Italian American (or possibly more specifically Sicilian American). Joe Pesci, in real life, is of Italian descent (with origins in Turin and Aquilonia in the province of Avellino, both located in Italy) and has played Italian and or Italian-American mobster roles many times. This weighty pendulum trap is approaching Indiana Jones levels of severity. How did Kev even lift it?
